I make quilts for the wall, and work in series (mostly) with only occasional flights off to play with a different idea.  Here my work is presented in three portfolios:

 

SHATTERED is work using digitally printed fabric, which has been systematically divided into small squares and sewn back together.  This work plays with an image that has been shattered.

 

TRANSPARENT is work made of pieced silk organza, where the front and back layers of the quilt can be seen at the same time.

 

SHIBORI is work which explores the many patterns that can be made with the technique of resist dyeing (shibori).
